According to the 31 March 1901 England Census,Daniel Rønneberg had an address in Sunderland Holy Trinity, Durham, England. He apparently was living in a boarding home.This 1901 English census also shows that Daniel was a steward aboard the Swedish Steamer "Max". Daniel was a single male at the time of the 1901 census. And according to the "OregonPassenger and Crew Lists, 1888-1937 Daniel was a sailor aboard the ship, Nordfarer, and he sailed from Shanghi, China to Astoria , Oregon. He arrived in Astoria, Oregon on 8 November 1931.
