Obituary
Valli Marie Regnell formerly of Palatine Valli Marie Regnell (Ronneberg), passed away Saturday, Feb. 19, 2011, in Elkhorn, Wis. Born Nov. 1, 1937 in Elmhurst, Ill., Valli was raised, married, and lived in Palatine for 30 years. Valli and her husband, Stuart, retired and moved to Cody, Wyo., for 10 years. Traveling the country visiting family and friends and Europe came next before settling again in Darien, Wis. Valli was a rare gift to those who knew her. She was dearly loved by her grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Valli is remembered by her family as a loving mother, wife and grandmother, fantastic cook, baker and seamstress. She was the queen of crossword puzzles, an avid reader and well traveled. Valli will be deeply missed by all who survive her including her best friend and husband, Stuart Regnell; daughters, Denise (Bill) Weber, Susan (Mike) Schoepke, Sandra Dvorscak and Deborah (Jeff) Mrozinsky; sons, Robert (Melissa) Regnell and Michael (Lisa) Regnell; grandchildren, Courtney, Bryan, Ryan Weber, Liz Schoepke, Mike, Nicole Coniglio, Marshall Dvorscak, Michelle Erwin, Marie Breshears, Ben, Andy, Rachael Mrozinsky, Wade, Alex, Lauren, Lucas Regnell, Andrea, Amanda Regnell; and great-grandchildren, Jaquelyn, Wyatt, Abigail and Baily. The gathering for Valli was private and very memorable, as she was.
