- Nevnt på Madland 1606-23. Njell var gift 2 ganger. Første gangmed Gjøa og andre gang med en ukjent. Det er ukjent med hvilkekoner han hadde de forskjellige barna. Men Velum var den eldsteog det er derfor rimelig å anta at Gjøa er moren. Datteren Gjøaer også trolig oppkalt etter moren. Men Lars er mer usikkert,men han er også ført opp som sønn av Gjøa. Mentioned at Madland1606-23. Njell was married twice. Thefirs t time with Gjøa andthe second time with an unknown. It isno t known with whichwife the children belonged to. But Velumwa s the oldest, and itis therefore reasonable to believe thatGjø a is his mother. Thedaughter Gjøa is probably named afterher m other. Lars is moreuncertain, but he is also listed asGjøa's s on.
